Healthy Food for Healthy Babies (Lecture)

This class will teach you how to eat well for lactation (your diet DOES effect the nutritional quality of your breast milk) and offer ideas for alternatives if breastfeeding doesn't work for you. It will also provide an overview of different theories on what and when to start feeding your baby, and how to see your own way through confusing and often contradictory information.

Caffeine doesn't give you energy – it gives you stress by artificially stimulating the nervous system. At the same time it impairs digestion, depresses immunity, and contributes to a host of health problems including mood disorders, hormone imbalances, osteoporosis, and diabetes, among others. Learn how to reduce or eliminate your caffeine consumption without going crazy. We'll discuss natural remedies and supplements to help with withdrawal, and healthy ways to increase energy and mental clarity during the day.
